To test out Google's cutting edge AR operating software we decided for halloween to set ourselves the challenge of creating a game in 10 days using the new ARcore. We harnessed the new light estimation tech as well as trigger-less SLAM tracking to create a unique experience. 

You play with Bydo your ghostly hound companion who can fetch, stay and follow you in AR. Bydo will only appear in a dimly lit area as he is afraid of bright places

After releasing the game we had some great responses to it, including being featured by Google on their ARCore showcase website here and a write-up from VRfocus which you can read here.  

You can download the game here. As ARCore is still in beta, the app currently only works with the Samsung S8 and Google Pixel phones. You will also need to download the ARCore services from Google here
