Beachside Barbecue

Background

‘The Mermaid Restaurant’ in Saundersfoot have now rebranded as ‘Beachside Barbecue’, an extension of the St Brides Spa Hotel chain. 

Challenge

We were asked to completely rebrand the Mermaid Restaurant with a new logo, signage, menu designs and more. They wanted to transform the restaurant into a new barbecue style offering cooking with a hard wood pit smoker and a lump wood charcoal smoker specialising in ‘low and slow’ meats.

Solution

First, as with all projects we undertake, we met with the client and discovered how the client aspired for its company to be positioned and perceived. 

We created a new logo, logo guidelines and menu designs for Beachside Barbecue. After the discovery phase we found that they wanted a family friendly atmosphere and to make better use of their beach-front location. We positioned signage with their new logo on all sides of the building, and added window vinyls to maximise the chances of enticing a potential customer.
