Bolli Darling are a flamboyant costumed entertainment company based in London. They specialise in the provision of unique and highly skilled models, artistes and entertainers who wear their glamorous outfits. Clients include: Bafta, Cirque du Soleil and Harrods.
We were approached by Bolli Darling to revamp their existing brand, creating an identity which would embody the spirit and aspirations of the company. The solution had to consider the creation of a consistent suite of marketing items which would cover all brand touchpoints and include a website with an online boutique.
Our approach was to investigate a number of conceptual routes which would effectively reflect the individuality of the brand. The brand directions explored were: Roaring Twenties, Typographic, Heritage and Nature.
A combination of concepts was chosen which was then represented through the brand marque — a free-flowing natural typographical art form. The marque defines the brand values through a sense of style and individuality and helps differentiate the brand. In conjunction with the marque we used a fusion of type styles to illustrate the dynamic and eclectic nature of Bolli Darling’s vision — two different styles together forming as one cohesive unit.
Once the logo was approved we applied the brand to the identity, ensuring the visual treatment had synergy with the ethos of Bolli Darling.
