Evoke education approached Sugar looking for an innovative way to introduce their holographic learning character to the market. Moe supports classroom teaching by creating a non-intimidating way to address difficult subjects as well as increasing engagement. To best capture this we created a full augmented reality character reveal app. In the app you can place an augmented reality version of Moe and interact with him. The app also serves to introduce the system and supporting resources to the target market.

Project expansion

The augmented reality in this app generated significant interest in potential cross usage amongst teachers and we are currently working on the exciting next phase of this project which will expand the app to allow interactive role-play experiences alongside learning games.

These augmented reality role playing games will allow children to place scenes in which they can play with characters and explore different options for wellbeing scenarios, investing how different options effect the people involved.
